A recent job for a gaming computer upgrade, The customer contacted us a little while ago for advice on which processors would fit his motherboard, We advised his bios would need upgrading to accept newer processors and sent him a list to choose from, Once his new AMD Rizen 7 5th gen processor arrived we collected the computer. Bios was upgraded and new processor installed, We then upgraded the ram from 16GB to 32GB.
He provided 2 hard drives, one an nvme drive to install windows on and an ssd drive for his game installs, Both drives had previously been used and the m2 drive he had never managed to get working. We found issues with the bios configuration which were stopping windows installing on to the Nvme drive, After configuring the bios correctly we installed windows and formatted the ssd ready to install his games.
A long job but another happy customer to have his machine completed the same day and back with him the following morning
